Groupe BPCE, actively committed to diversity

Faithful to the values that presided over its creation, Groupe BPCE is involved in the different areas of corporate social responsibility (CSR) with, in particular, the pursuit of a Disability policy and the adoption of active measures to ensure equal opportunity between men and women.

Because words and promises alone are not enough, Groupe BPCE takes concrete steps to promote the professional integration of disabled people – and to help them remain at work – through two sector-wide agreements for the Banque Populaire banks and the Caisses d’Epargne.

This commitment finds tangible, everyday expression though support measures designed to help managers to include disabled employees in their teams. A disability reference system has been adopted in each of the signatory companies.

Similarly, the solidarity-based purchasing initiative known as PHARE (“lighthouse” or “beacon” in French) encourages the sourcing of goods and services from companies in the sheltered sector.

To promote equal opportunity, for example, BPCE has signed a partnership with the association Nos Quartiers ont des Talents (“Our Neighborhoods Have Talent") to sponsor young graduates from underprivileged neighborhoods.
