An active recruitment policy

In order to support the development of Groupe BPCE as a whole, its companies take on new employees every year… to the effect that more than 5,800 new recruits were given permanent contracts by group companies in the course of 2011.

The group’s success depends, first and foremost, on the men and women who make up its personnel and on their personal qualities and commitment.

To recruit the very best candidates, the group’s companies pursue an active recruitment policy that combines partnerships with training institutions, cooptation initiatives, and regional communication campaigns along with an increasingly visible presence on the Internet.

At the same time, more innovative approaches such as “job-dating” sessions are being organized at a regional level. You are shortlisted during a telephone interview and subsequently invited to a branch for a series of 10-minute interviews.
If you are selected, you join in the recruitment process and will be asked, for example, to sit tests to assess your skills and personality, to join in sales role-playing sessions and attend further interviews.

We have also conducted the first no-CV recruiting event in the banking sector organized with an individual Caisse d’Epargne. Interested applicants complete an anonymous questionnaire on a dedicated website with questions about their skills, motivation and professional experience. At no time during the recruitment process will you be asked to submit a CV.

Each company’s Human Resources department provides individual support for their employees to facilitate the development of their careers both in their particular professional area and within the group.

This is why we adopted the Group Mobility charter at the beginning of July 2010.
As a result, more than one out of every six employees (all professional profiles and activities taken together) move to a different function or company every year. This professional mobility is facilitated by the existence of specific tools – such as a job exchange dedicated to mobility within and between group companies – provided for the use of our employees.
