Pascal Bidégorry is awarded the National Order of Merit

Awarded this distinction on the proposal of the French Minister of Health and Sport for his success in setting a new transatlantic record, Pascal Bidégorry said he was very moved to receive from the hands of François Pérol a distinction that he considers the fruit of a group effort. "Success in breaking the previous transatlantic record was the achievement of an entire team that includes the members of the Banque Populaire technical team as well as the crew.
