With Natixis, Groupe BPCE provides solutions in the areas of Corporate and Investment Banking, Investment Solutions (asset management, insurance, private banking, and private equity) and Specialized Financial Services. Natixis, which does business with the principal corporate and institutional groups, works in close synergy with retail banking networks to accompany corporate customers, institutions and local authorities in the successful realization of their projects.

Natixis offers its clientele of corporate customers, institutional investors and public sector entities:

  • Support for development projects: bank financing, access to the primary bond and equity markets, M&A advisory services, strategic and acquisition finance, advice on balance sheet optimization and risk transfer, securitization,
  • Investment and risk management products: forex, interest rates, credit market, commodities, equities, etc.,
  • Financing solutions for specific activities: commodities, aircraft, transportation, projects, real estate, international trade.

The expertise and technical skills of the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) teams, combined with its widely recognized and consistent prize-winning research, allows Natixis to design products and services tailored to the specific needs of its customers.

In the international market, the CIB core business serves its customers through three dedicated platforms: Europe, the Middle East and Africa; North & South America; Asia-Pacific region.

Investment Solutions

This division brings together four business lines: Asset Management, Insurance, Private Banking, and Private Equity:

  • Asset management, with Natixis Global Asset Management, a global player in asset management, has set up a ‘multi-boutique’ organization around some twenty financial and real estate asset management firms and a worldwide distribution platform. It is present in Europe, the United States, Asia, and the Middle East.
  • Working through Natixis Assurances, the division designs and manages a comprehensive range of products in the area of individual and collective life insurance, provident insurance and property damage insurance. This business line is also present outside France through local partner banks.
  • Private banking – handled by Banque Privée 1818 in France and by the staff of Natixis Private Banking in Luxembourg – provides financial and weal-management solutions tailored to the needs of large private investors, notably company owners and senior executives.
  • The Private Equity business covers venture capital, growth capital, and funds of funds activities.

Together or separately, these businesses provide global solutions tailored to the needs of their different clientele: institutions, corporate customers, high-net-worth individuals, and customers of Groupe BPCE’s retail banking networks.

INSURANCE

Specialized Financial Services

Developed for the banks belonging to Groupe BPCE and their customers, the solutions provided by the Specialized Financial Services division also satisfy the needs of other major banking networks and financial institutions. These solutions are provided through eight business lines:

  • Factoring (financing, management and protection of company receivables),
  • Sureties and guarantees (multi-market sureties and guarantees),
  • Leasing (commercial equipment and real-estate finance, extended period rentals),
  • Consumer finance (revolving credit and personal loan management),
  • Financing of cinematographic and audiovisual production (structured or cash flow loans, medium-term loans),
  • Employee benefits planning (employee savings, retirement savings, employee shareholding, group insurance and special payment vouchers),
  • Payments (processing of national, European and international payments),
  • Securities services (retail and private banking custody).

From product design to the management of operations, solutions are created using a highly effective and competitive industrial approach.

Specialist subsidiaries

COFACE

Coface, a Natixis subsidiary present in 65 different countries, enables 135,000 corporate customers to benefit from its expertise in receivables management. Thanks to the quality of its local service, more than 45% of the 500 largest international corporations are already Coface customers.

Coface markets solutions designed to manage commercial receivables held by companies against other business organizations. These solutions are structured around credit insurance, designed to protect companies against the risk of financial default by their customers. It also provides companies with information about their commercial partners, receivables management services and factoring products.

In France, Coface also manages, on behalf of the French government, guarantees designed to support French exports and covering risk that cannot be insured by the private sector.
