A graduate of the HEC School of Management and of the Paris Institute of Political Science (Sciences Po), as well as a former student at the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA), school for high-flying civil servants, François Pérol began his career in 1990 as an auditor, in the General Inspectorate of Finance. In 1994, he was appointed Deputy Secretary General of the Interdepartmental Commission for Industrial Restructuring (CIRI). In 1996, he moved to the French Treasury Department to assume responsibility as the head of the Financial Markets Office.
Between 1999 and 2001, he served as Secretary General of the Paris Club responsible for international negotiations with debtor countries. In 2001, he became Assistant Director responsible for business financing and development in the French Treasury Department before being appointed deputy Chief of Staff to Francis Mer, Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industry in the French Government, and remained at this position in 2004 when Nicolas Sarkozy was appointed Ministre d’Etat, Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industry. In 2005, he became a General Partner of the investment bank Rothschild & Cie.
In May 2007, François Pérol was appointed deputy Secretary General at the Presidency of the French Republic, in charge of economic issues.
On 1 August, 2009, after serving as Chairman of the Management Board of Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne (CNCE) and Chief Executive Officer of Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires (BFBP) for five months, since March 2009, François Pérol became Chairman of the Management Board of BPCE, born out of the completed merger between CNCE and BFBP.
A graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Science (Sciences Po) with a degree in law and a post-graduate diploma (DESS) in economic science de sciences, and a former student at the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA), Nicolas Duhamel served as an auditor (Inspecteur des finances) in the French Finance Ministry until 1984. He then held positions of responsibility in finance in several companies: head of the Finance Department of France Telecom from 1984 to 1988, Chief Financial Officer of the listed group Havas from 1993 to 1998, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Publishing Division of Vivendi Universal until 2001. In 2002, Nicolas Duhamel was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer of the La Poste Group and was a member of its Executive Committee.
Since August 1, 2009, Nicolas Duhamel has served as Chief Financial Officer and as a member of the BPCE Management Board.
A graduate of the ENSAE school of statistics and economic administration and HEC’s course in advanced finance, has held several positions of responsibility within BFCE where he created,and manages, an Investment Bank specializing in mergers & acquisitions and private equity. He joined Groupe Caisse d’Epargne in 1998 and, in 2000, was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of the Caisse d’Epargne Ile-de-France Ouest. In 2007, he was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of the Caisse d’Epargne Rhône-Alpes. He is currently Chairman of the national retail banking commission of the Caisses d’Epargne. Olivier Klein is also a member of the Boards of Directors of Natixis and Coface, and is an associate professor at HEC in economics and finance.
Since 2010, Olivier Klein has held the position of Chief Executive Officer responsible for Commercial Banking and Insurance and a member of the Management Board of BPCE.
He is also a member of the Boards of Directors of Natixis and CNP, and is an associate professor at HEC in economics and finance.

A graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Science (Sciences Po) and of the Paris Institute of Business Administration (IAE Paris) and holder of a post-graduate degree (DESS) in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Law, Anne Mercier-Gallay joined the Crédit Mutuel-CIC group in 1987 to assume responsibility for forward-looking jobs and skills resource planning before accepting a position, in 1999, as Human Resources Manager in the HSBC Crédit Commercial Group. In 2001, she joined the Caisse d’Epargne Group as Director of Senior Management Recruitment & Development before taking up a position with the SNCF national French railway company as Director responsible for senior executive staff and the group’s corporate university. Since January 2008, Anne Mercier-Gallay has been serving as Director of Human Resources, Communications and Sustainable Development, and as a member of the Executive Committee, of the Monoprix Group.
Since September 19, 2011, Anne Mercier-Gallay has officially taken up her position as Chief Executive Officer – Human Resources of Groupe BPCE, and Member of the Management Board.
A graduate of the Ecole nationale supérieure d’Arts et Métiers, joined Groupe Banque Populaire in 1980 in a position in Banque Populaire du Sud-Ouest. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Banque Populaire de la Loire in 1998 and, subsequently, Chief Executive Officer of Banque Populaire de l'Ouest in 2001. In 2006, he became Chairman and CEO of i-BP informatique-Banque Populaire). He was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires in January 2008. On July 31, 2009, he was appointed a member of the General Management Committee of BPCE in the capacity of Deputy Chief Executive Officer – Operations.
On April 7th 2010, Philippe Queuille was appointed Chief Executive Officer – Operations and a member of the Management Board of BPCE.
A graduate of the HEC School of Business Administration and of the Stanford Executive Program, Laurent Mignon held several positions at Banque Indosuez from 1986 to 1996. A Deputy Director of Schroders Bank in London in 1996, he joined the AGF Group in 1997 as Chief Financial Officer and was appointed member of the Executive Committee in 1998. He then headed several sectors including Investments, Banque AGF, AGF Asset Management, AGF Immobilier, the Life and Financial Services division and Credit Insurance. In January 2006, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of AGF Group, Chairman of the Executive Committee and member of the International Executive Committee of Allianz.
Since May 14, 2009, Laurent Mignon has served as Chief Executive Officer of Natixis, and was appointed a member of the Executive Management Board on August 1, 2009.
A graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Science (Sciences Po) and of the Ecole Centrale de Paris school of engineering, and a former student at the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA), François Riahi served as an Inspecteur des Finances (auditor at the French Treasury) in the Inspection Générale des Finances, from 2001 to 2005. He was then appointed to the Government’s Budget Department, first as a chargé de mission reporting to the Budget Director and subsequently as Head of the Budget Policy Office. In 2007, he was appointed as an advisor of the President of the French Republic, responsible for the reform of State institutions and public finance.
Since March 2009, François Riahi acted as an advisor to François Pérol at Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne and Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires.
